You see, this is the perfect picture of me, or how I look in person.
Style wise ;-) and on Summertime.
No jeans for me, no high heels, no brand names.
Now, If you happen to open my closet you will find three beautiful, FABULOUS pairs of high heels shoes, one coach handbag and denims which fits me just perfectly and are ready to be worn in special occasions or whenever I feel like it.
Other than that, the picture you see in the beginning of this post is me.
Me everyday.
One thing for sure, I love to wear accessories and lipstick.
So just that you know, I may be gardening, cooking, cleaning or just playing in the studio and yes, the music of my bracelets, earrings, necklaces and lipstick are part of the me, Carmen, and, yes, yes, YES! all of these make me who I am too.
It energize me tremendously!
And I certainly do love for the world to see me, to notice me, to see some of my creativity and gifts, and oh boy! Do I get notice?
I may not be the image of a perfect woman but I know I get attention.
And I am not talking of the way guys see me, now don’t get me wrong I appreciate their attention ;-) but I kind of like to hear when other women in a nice way say “only that would look great on Carmen”
Yes, indeed, My accessories are kind of different, handmade, funky, chunky, sparkly, vintage with some new age combinations, recycled and for sure, ALTERED.
Am I eccentric? I probably am and I love it.
Did I say that I wear big huge sunglasses all the time?

Did I say hats and scarves are part of my "what to wear decisions"?
Te-hee! And I live in a city with a lovely perfect weather so when they see you wearing a hat, they are going to stare. LOL.
My work clothes (because I am part of the 40 hours a week work force) are a little bit more in the office professional attire side which is great, because I need the credibility and respect BUT I make sure that every accessory says I am me somehow.
Since I was really young (15) one of the very first comments (or compliments, because I really really love to hear this, and I still do!) were:
“you look from the sixties” “did you make that?” “love the print of your top” “where did you get that flower” etc etc
I am not sure how to describe exactly my style because it is whole combination of fashions, things and facts like comfort and my type of body, one thing I am certain, my style hasn’t change much, okay, yes, the color and style of my hair changes quite a lot!!! LOL
As I am typing this, My hair is long and Orangey and one of these days, you will see my picture and notice a streak of cerulean blue in my hair, te-hee!
I am me!
In the inside, lovely, spiritual, insecure at times, brave the majority of the times!
And for sure, my outside and looks says: look! I am here!
And I am ready to engage, share and yes, I am having lots of fun, too.

p.s. #2 I love to browse all those magazines with very glossy images of clothing, accesories and shoes, sighs! They certainly feed my imagination, and my very unique sense of fashion and style.
