"To invent you need a good imagination and a pile of junk."
-Thomas Edison

Both pieces were created with acrylics, imagination and a pile of junk ;-)

Guess what? I met two bloggers... in person!!!!
~ Julie Prichard
~ Katie Lynn
I had the best time with them, the best i've ever had in a long time!
It was so lovely to see them play with their cameras, finding beauty and wonder all around and the best was when they found DANDELIONS, they went nuts happy and that made my heart all giggly too.
They are beautiful inside and outside!
Thank you very much Julie and Katie Lynn for the wonderful time i had with you two!
So very lovely to meet you in person!
Can't wait to get together again.
Hugs to everyone,
and before i go, here me blowing a dandelion and wishing to meet more of my blogger friends in person one day.

Love the quote - very appropriate, must try to remember it. And how neat to meet some fellow bloggers. Such a small world now huh?
Hi Carmen,
I love the texture, paint and the way it sort of 'peels' away from the center. How excellent that you got to meet blogging friends in person-looks like you all had a blast!
I think the black crusade is one of my all time favorites..I love the pieces you made!!
And yes...Saturday was the best! What a great time... That guy in the green socks is muy guapo MUY! and I remember exactly why I look so determined to get into Petco...they were blaring "Dancing Queen"..we made great memories that day! We'll do it again soon!

How wonderful that you were able to make connections from bloglandia in the 3-d world! There is nothing like a play date with people who get you.
How I'd love to meet some fellow bloggers - especially you, Gemma and Lila.
Very cool! I love the first piece especially, with the paper bursting in the middle! I am jealous you got to meet Julie!
