A black and some green background

This piece was created to participate for the very first time in a crusade ;-) with the talented and lovely artist Michelle Ward.

Thank you Michelle for the challenge.
I am so glad to finally make the decision to join you, and play with this GPP community.

I love my results!!!
And got to play with some green, too ;-)

What do you do to let your mind wander?

My favorite things to relax, unwind and let my mind wander is

~ take a walk along the beach
~ writing and doodling
~ browsing the web specifically blogs ;-)
~ creating abstracts and journal pages, specially, playing with all kind of supplies and found objects to create textures

How about you?

hugs,
Carmen

Firstly, may I say very excited to have found another challenge... So tempted to go paint right now (but promised myself an early night!). I am a great mind-wandered in blogland too - so much to see, so many lovely people to meet. Walking in nature's beauty is guaranteed to get the creative juices flowing as the mind explores all the amazing possibilities!

Carmen - welcome to the team! So glad to have you join us! LOVE the textures on your piece, and the green over the black looks really cool.

Hmmm, what do I do to let my mind wander? Turn on some tunes and get lost painting on pages :)

I really like the texture of this piece! The smooth greens on the black really cause it to draw you in.
My mind wandering.... hmmmm.... on a daily (regular) basis, I sit at my back window and overlook the llama farm behind me. :)

Hi Carmen, it is good to meet you through the Crusades. I like the piece you created, it seems to have so many different textures. I just wish I could touch it...

Hi Carmen !

I love your Dark Side Play ! Those textures are so beautiful.

You have lots of good mind wandering places...I love the beach as well, something about those waves and the smell for me. Pretty much anything in nature works for me. That or put a paint brush in my hand, a surface to paint on in front of me, and a few tubes of paint close by and I am a-wandering...
Cheers, Crusader !
