Do you remember this post? Do you remember my offering and challenge regarding these "free" inventory tags kind of long forgotten in my mermaid stash?
Well, to my heart’s content, and with a very prompt response and enthusiastic positive attitude, 8 of my lovely blogger friends, all with a love for art, coincidentially in VERY different mediums (watercolors artist, mixed media, quilter, poets and authors, sketch artists, photographers and one scrapbooking artist) they all accepted to play and participate in this art green game, which we decided to call it "Green Art Tags Exchange"

(I think, naturally, with any blank canvas, we all were a little unsure of what we were doing, and yes, to be honest, in the begining, I was a little scared organizing this exchange (and of them saying no to me) but I dared and they trusted me, and dared along with me, too.
I thank you you ladies for this!!!)

And this is what we basically was all about it: to make art out of whatever we already had around, with the only unbreakable rule of not doing any shopping and/or spend any money at all, and to be creative, in a very green way, I mean, REUSING, REDUCING AND RECYCLING and to see everything and our surroundings with new eyes, creating art, using the inventory tags as our canvas.

As you are about to see, The resulting Art creations are lovely, poetic, beautiful eye candy, and, very GREEN conscious.

Also, please know that The tags arrived and departed from my house to another not so secret location, and we all are hoping (here, you have to cross your fingers with us, because we are dreaming quite big (and of making a difference, too) and believe me if it happens what we are wishing for, you all will know, oh yes!!! LOL)

Also, I want you to know that every single time that I opened my latest mail containing tags, I couldn't help but feeling a big gulp and tears from the emotion of admiring their wonderful green artwork, It was amazing to have a change of holding every single tag! so VERY GREEN concious and divine! and each of them so very unique!

I hope these pictures and blog post make honor of their green artwork and at the same time they show you their heart, soul, talent and enthusiasm.

Right now, I have a couple of ideas in mind, and please know that you don't need lots of money or art supplies at all, my projects are in the green side, I mean, my way of being is frugal, frugal is my middle name;-) So let me know, one thing, I am a big dreamer so I may dare you and challenge you to dream big BUT only if you really want to, LOL ;-)
